Q. WHAT IS MGM COMPOSITE PRODUCTS MADE FROM?

A: MGM wood-plastic composite (WPC) products are made from over 90% recycled wood and plastic (HDPE). It provides performance and durability superior than wood. MGM WPC is resistant to weather and termites; it does not splinter or rot, and there is no need to paint or stain it. Composite products combine the best features of both wood and polymer, and is eco-friendly.

Q: WHAT'S THE MINIMUM QUANTITY?

A: It is 100 Square Meters.

 

Q: WHAT IS YOUR DELIVERY TIME?

A: It will be different according to the quantity.

Generally it is about 7-10 days for one 20ft container.

 

 

Q: WHERE WILL USE WPC PRODUCTS?

A: WPC products are widely used currently.

For outdoor, it was mainly used at gardens landscape, the beach road, villa yard, etc;

For indoor, it was mainly used for kitchen, balcony, TV setting wall, etc.

 

Q: COMPARING WITH THE WOOD, WHAT'S THE ADVANTAGE OF WPC PRODUCTS?

A: 1st, WPC products are totally environmentally friendly, it is 100% recyclable.

Q. HOW IS THE PERFORMANCE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL?

A: MGM composite products look and feel like natural wood, but provide superior performance. It does not splinter or crack like wood; it is waterproof and resistant to mold, mildew, and termites; It is more durable and requires lower maintenance than wood – no painting or staining needed. Composite products combine the best features of both wood and polymer, and is eco-friendly.

 

Q. ARE MGM COMPOSITE PRODUCTS REALLY ECO-FRIENDLY?

A: Yes. Our composite products are made from 90% recycled wood and polymer, and it is safe to people and environment with no harmful chemicals. Our manufacturing processed is also designed to minimize the impact on our environment.

Q. DOES COMPOSITE PRODUCTS FADE DUE TO EXPOSURE TO THE SUN?

A: Capped composite products almost do not fade, thanks to its protective shield which provides additional resistance to fading, scratching, and mold.

Traditional composite products do fade to some degree under sun exposure. However, the color will stabilize in about 3-6 months and form a weathered color.

 

Q. DOES COMPOSITE DECK GET HOTTER THAN WOOD UNDER THE SUN?

A: For both wood and composite deck boards, the main factor that determines the temperature under intensive sunlight is color. Generally dark colors absorb more energy from sunlight and will get slightly hotter than light colors. The temperatures of a composite deck and a wood deck with the same color will be roughly the same.

 

Q. WHAT IS THE FIRE RESISTANCE OF COMPOSITE PRODUCTS?

A: Due to the nature of the materials used – wood and plastic, which are both flammable, the fire rating for MGM composite products is ASTM C.

We are able to produce custom order products with ASTM B fire rating up on request.

 

Q. DO YOU PROVIDE ANY WARRANTY?

A: We provide 5-10 years limited residential warranties for different products.

 

Q. HOW TO MAINTAIN AND CLEAN DECKING?

A: MGM composite decking is almost maintenance free. It only requires regular cleaning and washing, no need for painting and staining. For details you can refer to the Care & Maintenance Guide on our website under Resources section.

 

Q. CAN I PAINT MGM DECKING?

A: Although you can, we do not recommend painting your MGM decking, because there would be extra costs and efforts associated with painting and maintenance. We provide products in various colors and patterns to suit your distinctive style.
